About Me:
I am Ved Pratap, a Physicist (PU), Data Scientist and Programmer from IIT Madras, India. Currently gaining experience in Python, Flask, Vue.js and Backend Technologies including Machine Learning. I like to explore technologies and keep on developing new projects.
I developed a keen interest in Data Science and Machine Learning so I have started studying and implementing different algorithms and analysing various datasets and started competitions on Kaggle.

Quantified Self App - Web Development

- Developed a web application which can be used for self-tracking. (Habits, activities, other life parameters etc.)
- Used Python as a programming language, Flask for application code, Jinja2 for templating, Bootstrap for HTML generation and styling and SQLite for data storage.
Capstone Project - Business Data Management

- Collected sales and purchases data for one month from a fruit vendor by visiting the shop daily.
- Entered the data in excel for analysis and made some inferences from it.
- Suggested some essential things to the fruit vendor for making more profits based on inferences.

- Qualified the first round of the Olympiad on Mathematics and Statistics conducted by IITM BS Maths and Stats Academic cell.
- Secured Distinction in Honours and GS Paper. (B.Sc. - Patna University)
- Secured Zonal Rank 4 in Bihar and International rank 908 in the finals of 10th SOF – IMO Competition held in February 2017.
- Secured rank 15 in Bihar Zone in the 1st level of 10th SOF International Mathematics Olympiad held during December 2016.
